THEORY OF HUMAN TENDENCY OF SELF-INTEREST

BY VK CREATIVE VISION & SWEKART

HELLO PEOPLE

Look What I got The Epic Theory Of  Human tendency Of  Being Self-Centered.

I don't Know Whether You Have Heard About This Before Or Not,
But Let's Recall The Epic Theory Of
Why People Might Not Cooperate & Being Self-Centered
Even If It Is In Their Best Interests

"PRISONER'S DILEMMA"

Yeah That's The Name Given To this Theory

The prisoner's dilemma is game theory that shows why two  individuals might not cooperate, even if it appears that it is in their best interests

Two members of a criminal gang are arrested and imprisoned. Each prisoner is in prison with no means of speaking to or exchanging messages with the other. The police admit they don't have enough evidence to convict the pair on the principal charge. They plan to sentence both to a year in prison on a lesser charge.

Simultaneously, the police offer each prisoner a Bargain. Each prisoner is given the opportunity either to betray the other, by confessing that the other committed the crime, or to cooperate with the other by remaining silent.

NOW THE REAL GAME STARTS CLOSELY LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING OFFER POLICE MADE TO PRISONERS

  • If A and B each betray the other, each of them will be Punished With 2 years in prison
  • If A betrays B but B remains silent, A will be set free and B will be punished with 3 years in prison (and vice versa)
  • If A and B both remain silent, both of them will only serve 1 year in prison (on the lesser charge)

AS BETRAYING THE OTHER PRISONER WILL GIVE ONE BETTER REWARD THAN COOPERATING, EACH PRISONER WILL TRY TO BETRAY EACH OTHER
ULTIMATELY THEY WILL END UP GETTING 2 YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

THEY BOTH MIGHT HAVE  GOT A LESSER IMPRISONMENT IF THEY WOULD HAVE COOPERATED

BUT IT IS IMPLIED THAT HUMAN TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THAT OPTION WHERE THEIR SELF-INTEREST LIES,EVEN IF THEIR BEST-INTEREST LIES IN COOPERATION

SO THAT'S ALL

BE COOPERATIVE IN YOUR LIVES AT ONCE IT MAY LOOK LIKE A LOSS TO YOU
BUT ULTIMATELY IT'S THE TEAM WORK THAT CAN GET YOU BETTER RESULTS.

THAT'S COOPERATION
